A woman was found dead with multiple stab wounds inside a lodging house in Parang, Maguindanao, on Wednesday. Authorities are now tracking down the suspect, who was last seen fleeing the scene on a motorcycle.

According to investigators from the Parang Municipal Police Station, the victim checked into the lodging house around noon with a male companion. However, just a few hours later, the man was seen hurriedly leaving the room before escaping on a motorcycle.

The lodging house staff discovered the woman's lifeless body soon after and immediately alerted the police. Authorities have since obtained CCTV footage from the establishment to help identify the suspect.

Police are now conducting an in-depth investigation and have urged the public to provide any information that may lead to the arrest of the perpetrator.
