A horrifying crime shook a community in Sitio Nara, Barangay Nuing, after a 3-year-old girl was raped and brutally killed by her own 17-year-old brother on Thursday afternoon. 

According to a delayed report by P/Cpl Jeffrey Angeles, investigator of the Jose Abad Santos Municipal Police, the child's lifeless body was discovered unclothed with a stab wound on her forehead at a copra dryer or kiln.

Investigations revealed that the teenage suspect came home intoxicated before taking his younger sister to the kiln. Neighbors reported hearing the child crying before the incident but did not intervene. 

The suspect was quickly arrested and later admitted to raping his sister. He confessed to hitting her on the head with a metal object and stabbing her in the forehead to silence her. 

Authorities are now preparing charges of rape with homicide against the suspect.
